The AONN is dedicated to improving patient care and quality of life by defining, enhancing, and promoting the role of oncology nurse and patient navigators.

APSHO improves the quality of care for patients with cancer by supporting critical issues in educational, clinical, and professional development for advanced practitioners in hematology and oncology.

ONCC is the premier provider of nationally accredited certification for nurses in oncology and related specialties and offers eight credential programs.

Since 1975, ONS has provided a professional community for oncology nurses, developed evidence-based education programs and treatment information, and advocated for patient care.

Pharmacists

The mission of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties is to improve patient care and increase awareness of the need for BPS Board Certified Pharmacists as integral members of multidisciplinary healthcare teams through recognition and promotion of specialized training, knowledge, and skills in pharmacy and specialty board certification and recertification of pharmacists. Healthcare workers who prepare or administer hazardous drugs (e.g., some cancer therapy, antiviral, hormone therapy, and bioengineered agents) or who work in areas where these drugs are used may be exposed to these agents in the workplace. COPA is a network for medically integrated pharmacies—pharmacies within medical centers that provide patient-centered and multidisciplinary care—in independent community oncology and urology practices. COPA breaks down regulatory and operational barriers to ensure patients have timely and unrestricted access to pharmacy services as an integral part of their care.

The Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) supports pharmacy practitioners and seeks to promote and advance hematology/oncology pharmacy to optimize the care of individuals affected by cancer.

NCODA addresses the growing need for dispensing cancer clinics to improve operations at the pharmacy level to deliver quality and sustainable value to all stakeholders involved in the care of cancer patients receiving oral therapy.

The network offers a platform for local/regional clinicians to exchange ideas and promote the integration of oncology principles into clinical practice to optimize cancer care.
