Call for Abstracts

We warmly invite oncology and hematology focused medical students, residents, and fellows across Massachusetts to showcase their original research and clinical vignettes at our annual poster competition. This is a unique opportunity to present your work, gain recognition, and be celebrated within the state oncology community during our annual meeting.


Categories

  • Clinical Vignette (A report of one or more cases that illustrates a new disease entity, or a prominent or unusual clinical feature of an established disease. It may include a summary of pertinent patient history, physical findings, laboratory data, or management description)
  • Research

We actively encourage trainees to submit their work in either category, allowing for a diverse range of submissions that reflect the multifaceted nature of oncology and hematology.


Guidelines

To participate in the abstract competition the first author MUST be a current Resident, Fellow or Medical Student member of MSCO and be enrolled in a Massachusetts Residency/Fellowship Program or Medical School.

Submission

Application Opens: August 1st

Deadline: October 18, 2024

Submit your abstracts by the mid-October deadline to be considered for the prestigious Walter Kagan Research Poster Award and the Michael Goldstein Clinical Vignette Poster Award. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of oncology knowledge and receive recognition for your outstanding work.
